Joann Short

JoAnn Short is 91 years old. She was married to Robert Henderson Short with whom she had 3 children, Billy Gene, Lynn Joe and Belinda. She loved God and her family dearly and focused on helping her husband and raising her children to do the right thing when choices arose. She always tried to do the right thing.

JoAnn loved being outdoors, maintaining the yard, house; also planting and nurturing a variety of flowers. She helped her husband seed and care for their garden, growing fresh vegetables for their family meals.

JoAnn was a believer and devout follower of Jesus Christ. Her passing has taken her away from the agony and pain she had been having, reuniting her pain-free with her family members in Heaven.

In our conversations JoAnn would tell me to study a negative situation, determine what needs to be done and correct it as necessary. She always ended her advice “just do the right thing”.
