Joyce Marie Worrell

Joyce Marie Worrell, 84, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026.

A native of Roanoke County, Virginia, Joyce was born on June 30, 1941, to the late Albert Lee Worrell and Thelma Ferguson Worrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her older sister, Betty Jean Worrell, and her younger brother, Tommy Lee Worrell.

Joyce loved her family deeply and was a member of Bible Truth Tabernacle in Bedford, Virginia.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Worrell; two nieces, Jackie and Lisa; and numerous cousins who miss her deeply.

The family will have a Chapel Service at 2:00pm on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA 24019. A Visitation will be held one hour prior from 1:00 -2:00pm, also at the funeral home.
