Margaret Arlene Hammack Falls

Margaret Arlene Hammack Falls, 93, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026. Margaret was born in Pittsylvania County, VA on September 30, 1932 to the late William Arvid Hammack and the late Nannie Bet Towler Hammack. She was also predeceased by her husband of many years, Mr. Oscar Lee Falls.

Margaret was of the Christian Faith. She was a volunteer for many years for the Salvation Army. Margaret worked for many years in the medical industry as a nurses aide, previous to her retirement.

Margaret is survived by one son; George “Tommy” Falls of Danville, VA; a granddaughter; Melissa; a great grandson Michael; as well as many numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Margaret was predeceased by a son; Douglas Falls; a daughter; Patsy Falls; seven brothers; Ernest, Lee, Garnet, Lester, Lacy, Spencer, and Luther Hammack; and two sisters; Ethel Hammack Buntin Thomas and Joyce Hammack Craft.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the loving and caring staff of Piney Forest Health and Rehab during Margarets stay there the last few years.
