George Albert Smith

George Albert Smith Jr., of Buchanan, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 30, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mrs. Smith; sisters, Annabelle and Betty; and brothers, Harry Smith, Max Smith, and Ralph Smith.
George is survived by his loving significant other, Dora Slee; daughter, Melinda Smith; 2 grand-children; sisters, Sally and Sue; and brother, Bobby Smith.
George bravely served two tours in Vietnam with the United States Army, where he worked on helicopters.
The family is planning a Memorial Service at a later date.
