Cheryl Lawless Dillon

Mrs. Cheryl Ann Lawless Dillon, age 52 of Critz, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Stuart Community Hospital. She was born in Martinsville on January 22, 1974. Mrs. Dillon was preceded in death by her husband, Barry Dillon; her paternal grandparents, Arthur and Jewett Lawless; and her maternal grandmother, Sallie Pendleton. She was a sweet, loving, kind, goodhearted, and peaceful woman who loved her children and grandchild.

Mrs. Dillon is survived by her children, Kayla Bevill, Brandon Wood and Chelsea Lawson; her granddaughter, MacKenzie Fain; her mother, Peggy Belton (Mike); her father, Bobby Lawless (Patsy); an uncle, Mike Lawless; an aunt, Patsy Hughes; special cousins, Marty and Donna Holt and Kaye Lee Holt; and the fathers of her children, Alvis Wood and Phillip Lawson.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dillon will be held at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 1:00 PM with Pastor Shaun Draughn officiating. Burial will follow in the Sycamore Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
