D'Nico L. Johnson

D’Nico L. Johnson 22, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020. He was born March 29, 1998, in Martinsville, Virginia to Sherwin and Lawanda Johnson Hairston. He enjoyed music, rapping, basketball, and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, James Johnson and Larry Hairston.

In addition to his parents, D’Nico is survived by a daughter, Dior Yisrael; son, Giannis Yisrael; sister, Jasmine Johnson; brothers, Devin and Darrius Wooden; grandparents, Evangeline Keen, and Mary and Calvin McCullough; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other friends and family.

A floating visitation will be Friday, October 30, 2020, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. The funeral will be private, but will be online at Wright Funeral Service and Crematory MHC for anyone wanting to watch.
