Billie Marie White

Miss Billie Marie White, age 78, formally of Dobson, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026, at TerraBella Greensboro. She was born on September 24, 1947, in Surry County, to the late James William White and the late Freeda Stanley White. Miss White was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and a retired school teacher for the Eden City School System, and also loved furry companions.

Left to cherish her memories are her brother and sister-in-law, Brent and Lisa White, nephews, Andy White and Stephen White; great nephews, Jaxon White and Spencer White; and numerous cousins. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 10:00-11:00 AM, at Fairview Baptist Church. Service will begin at 11:00 AM, in the church, with Rev. Dale Wallace and speaker Jake Haynes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fairview Baptist Church Quilting Ministry,7659 NC 268, Dobson NC 27017, or to the local Humane Society. Moody-Davis funeral Service in Dobson is serving the White Family.
