MATTHEW DUANE PRITCHARD (“MATT,” “BUBBA,” “DADDY”)

JUNE 20, 1982 – FEBRUARY 18, 2026.

Matthew was born in Roanoke, Virginia, to Helen and Ralph Pritchard. He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, uncles Jimmy and Roy, and his cousin Eddie.

He is survived by his children Autumn, Ava, Bonnie, Kinley, Icies, Kayleigh, and Cayden; his parents Helen and Ralph; his sisters Brandy (Jeremy) and Amanda (Lisa); his nieces Sarah, Leighanna, and Alina; his nephews Alex, CJ, JJ, and Melchizedek(Little man); his aunts and Uncle George; many cousins. Nikki, and his very special “Power Ranger buddy.”

Matthew enjoyed listening to music (The Crossroads by Bone Thugs, I wish by R.Kelly, Eminem etc.) playing with his trains, and working on cars. He loved to do things with his hands, but most of all he loved playing with his children. He started playing with trains at a very young age when his grandfather took him on the steam engine 611, which was his favorite. He loved his family very much and will be greatly missed by many.
