Timothy Greer

Timothy Greer, 66, of Monroe, passed away on February 22, 2026.

Born June 4, 1959, he was the son of the late Ray Vaughn Greer and Vivian Poe Greer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Ricky Greer and three brothers, Bobby Greer, Vaughn Greer and Ray Greer.

He is survived by two sons, Jason Greer of Lynchburg and Joshua Greer (Katie) of Christiansburg; his sister, Teresa Foster of Madison Heights; his brother, Gregory Greer; five grandchildren, Justice Greer, Raymond Greer, Tracy Greer, Oakley Greer and Nova Greer; and his nephew, Greg E. Roberts (Rachael Martin)

Timothy will be remembered as a man who loved life, lived life to the fullest, and was happy in the way he met each day.

His life reflected an appreciation for living fully, and those who knew him will remember the warmth and positivity he carried with him.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 pm Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
