Jimmy Warren Crider

JIMMY WARREN CRIDER, SR., 74, of Bastian, VA, passed away Friday, February 27, 2026 at Mountain Laurel Rehab. He was born March 20, 1951 in Annapolis, MD, the son of the late Rev. Benjamin & Bonnie Shortt Crider.

Jimmy was an automotive mechanic and loved hot rods, especially Corvettes. He enjoyed staying busy and.  

He most recently was a delivery driver for Pizza Plus in Bastian for many years before it closed.

The joy of his life was his son and he enjoyed tinkering in the garage with him on his project cars.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin & Bonnie Shortt Crider and his brothers, Howard Crider and Gary Crider.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved son, Jimmy Crider, Jr.

Per his wishes, Jimmy will be cremated and no public services are planned.
