Robert Leroy Boitnott

Mr. Robert “Bobby” L. Boitnott, age 82, of Goodview, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Bobby was born on July 20, 1943 to the late Samuel Henry Boitnott and Lula Chewning Boitnott. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Lewis Boitnott.

Bobby loved woodworking, fishing, and spending time with friends and family. He especially loved enjoying lake life at Smith Mountain Lake.

Surviving is his beloved wife, Mary Little Boitnott; his children, Todd Boitnott, Jim Wooldridge, Amy Burch (Carlin), Kim Vencil (Donald); three grandchildren, Dustin, Brittany, and Logan Vencil; two great grandchildren; and his best friend and fur baby, Oliver.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Simpson Funeral Home and Crematory, 5160 Peters Creek Rd, is assisting the family.
