Mr. Carl Ray Murray, age 84, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Twelve Oaks Assted Living in Mt. Airy. He was born on October 19, 1941 in Surry County to the late Cecil and Hattie Hawks Gammons. Left to cherish his memory are a sister, Brenda Durst; brothers, Mike and Dennis Gammons. In addition to his parents Mr. Murray was preceded in death by a sisters, Barbara Lee Carter and Bobbie Murray; brother; Larry Murray. There will be no formal services at this time.
