Lawrence Dudley

Lawrence Lee Dudley, age 61, of Rich Patch Road, Covington, Virginia passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at his residence.

He was born April 4, 1964 in Clifton Forge, Virginia to the late Oler Dudley, Sr., and Clara Knick Dudley. He was carpenter and a jack of all trades. He enjoyed gardening and was known to have a green thumb. His favorite thing was to be a pawpaw.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Perry and a sister, Patricia Perry.

He is survived by two daughters, Jessica Mailhot and Tiffany Mailhot, and a son, Bobby Mailhot, all of Clifton Forge; two sisters, Mary Perry of Clifton Forge and Sandra Perry of Roanoke; three brothers, Oler “Georgie” Dudley, Jr. of Clifton Forge, Jamie Dudley of Millboro, and Kenneth Perry of Clifton Forge; six grandchildren, Sydney Plogger, Alex Plogger, Jorja Ruley, Paytyn Mailhot, Kolt Harold, and Matthew Robertson; special friends, Lynda Helmintoller and Connie Dudley; his special companion, Kassie; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his wishes, his body will be cremated.
