Ralph A. Weddle

Ralph A. Weddle, 76, of Roanoke passed away on March 13, 2026.

A native of Virginia he was the husband of Eva R. Weddle, who survives, and the son of Howard and Minnie Weddle, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters. Ralph was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked as an installer in the telecommunications industry for many years. Ralph was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church where he did the morning announcements and did electrical work and repairs. He enjoyed playing golf, especially with the Senior League at Botetourt Country Club.

In addition to his wife those left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Jeremy Weddle and Patrick Weddle and wife Konye; granddaughter, Payton Moore; three great granddaughters, Teagan, Callie, and Luna; and his sister, Linda Weddle Clemons and husband Elmer.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Daleville from noon until 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. A funeral service will follow in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Pastor Elmer Clemons officiating. Burial will be in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens.
