Ann Shriberg

October 29, 1938 - March 10, 2026

Ann Katherine Clark Shriberg, age 87, of Waynesboro, Virginia died on Monday, March 10, 2026 at The Alleghany Health and Rehabilitation Center in Clifton Forge, Virginia.

Ann was born in Clifton Forge to the late Robert and Nora White Clark (Quinn). Following graduation from Clifton Forge High School, she furthered her education through the radiology technician program at the Chesapeake and Ohio Hospital. She began her career there, but also worked at other hospitals throughout her life. She left Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville to start a life in Massachusetts. Ann lived in her home in Norfolk, MA for almost 50 years. During that time, she had a horse, numerous adopted cats, and two dogs. She loved antiques and lived in an antique home. Part of her home was built in the early 1800s. She filled her home with antiques from up and down the eastern seaboard. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Framingham, MA, for over 50 years and particularly enjoyed singing in the choir. She was an Award-Winning Avon Representative for 32 years. Ann was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority for sixty-plus years, and will be missed by her many sorority sisters. She enjoyed attending Sorority Conventions including several in Virginia. Ann worked for a number of physicians in the area before her retirement in 2011. She was also active at the Norfolk Senior Center and loved to play their games at lunches. After her retirement, Ann devoted much of her time to helping cats in shelters. She was always present for fund raisers as well as providing homes for several cats at a time. She also was able to travel quite a bit around the northeast and Virginia with her sorority sisters, including her best friend of 42 years, Judy Eppley, who survives her along with many friends.

Ann is also survived by her three brothers, Robert L. Clark (Carol) of Waynesboro, Steven A. “Sam” Clark (Rene) of Clifton Forge, and Raymond H. Clark (Susan) of Wintergreen, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. There are no services planned at this time.
