Louise Cooper Rorrer Mabry

Louise Cooper Rorrer Mabry, age 93, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.

Born to the late George N. Cooper and Nannie Shelton Cooper, Louise lived a long and meaningful life rooted in love for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Raymond Rorrer; her second husband, James Mabry; her sons, Wesley Rorrer and Lesley D. Rorrer; her grandchildren, Derrick Rorrer and Brian Rorrer; and her brother, George W. Cooper.

Louise leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory always. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Carroll and Emily Kay Rorrer; her grandchildren, Michael Rorrer, Jonathan Rorrer, Ralph Carroll, Tina Carroll, and Rick Carroll; and her beloved dog, Sally Mabry, who was a constant source of companionship and comfort.

Louise will be remembered for her strength, devotion to her family, and the warmth she brought into the lives of those who knew her. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to live on through her family and all who were blessed to know her.

A funeral service will be held at Bassett Funeral Service Chapel on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 1:00 PM, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
