Clyde Monroe Hall
Clyde Monroe Hall Jr., 80, entered his heavenly home on March 21, 2026. Clyde was born in Burlington, NC on March 16, 1946 to the late Edna Wellons Hall and the late Clyde Monroe Hall Sr. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Mrs. Vivian Howerton Hall.
Clyde was of the Christian Faith and attended Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Church. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, during the Vietnam conflict. He worked for many years as a Department Manager at Dan River Mills Inc., previous to his retirement in textiles.
In addition to his wife, Clyde is survived by two daughters; Krystal Phillips and husband Matthew of Dry Fork, VA and Shannon Hall of Portland, OR; a brother; Tom Hall and wife Melonie of Burlington, NC; five grandchildren; Nolan Phillips, Blaine Phillips, Audrey Blackburn, Jane Johnson, and Sarah Hill; three nephews; Travis Hall, Jason Hall, and Paden Hall; and one niece; Laura Hall.
In addition to his parents, Clyde was predeceased by a son; Billy W. Heath Jr.; a brother; Randy Hall; and a niece; Julie Holt.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 2:00pm at Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Church, 3612 Dry Fork Road, Dry Fork, VA with Pastor Gerald Kelly officiating. Interment will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville, VA. A visitation will be held on the same day prior to the service from 1-2:00pm, also at Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Church. At other times the family will receive friends and family at the residence.
