Barbara Jane Radagaugh Fry

Barbara Jane Radabaugh Fry, 83, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was born in Jackson, Michigan on October 19, 1942 to the late Mary Brown Radagaugh and the late Oakley James Radabaugh. Barbara was also predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years, Mr. John Phillip Fry.

Barbara was of the Christian Faith and attended Westover Baptist Church. She was a loving Homemaker to her entire family for many years and also worked as a teachers aide for Danville Public Schools.

Barbara is survived by two sons; John Phillip Fry Jr. (Michelle) of Danville, VA and Carl Fry (Stephanie) of New Castle, VA; a sister; Marsha Usher; six grandchildren; Christopher, Cody, Carl Jr., Tiffany, Phillip, and Chad; 29 great grandchildren; and her special dog; Tinker.

In addition to her parents, and loving husband, Barbara was predeceased by a daughter; Colleen Renee Fry; a brother; Roy Aaron Radabaugh; a sister; Leigh Ann Omey; and a grandson; John P. Fry III.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 12:00pm at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA with Mr. Johnnie Scearce officiating. A visitation will be conducted prior to the service on the same day from 11:00am-12:00noon, also at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA. At other times the family will receive family and friends at the residence of her son, John P. Fry Jr., 2855 Hinesville Road, Danville, VA 24541.
