Faye Vernon Moore

Faye Vernon Moore, 78, of Mount Airy, North Carolina passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Born December 30, 1947, in Surry County to late Willie and Evelyn Bryant Vernon. Faye served her community as a hairdresser for 56 years. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Faye had such a light about her, anyone who met her instantly loved her. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter and son-in-law, Ginger Ramey and Phillip; sons, Brandon Moore, and Lewis Moore; grandchildren, Jaclyn Hess, Ethan Ramey, and Seth Ramey; great grandchildren, Oliver Hess, and Vivianne Hess; and brother and sister-in-law, Roy Vernon and Deane. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Service. A graveside service will follow, at 2:00 PM in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. David Trump officiating. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson, NC is serving the Moore family.
