Irene Mae Lee

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our mother, Irene Mae Lee, age 83, of Blacksburg, on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Lewis Gale Hospital Montgomery. She was born in Willis, VA, on November 16, 1942, to the late James Newman and Mabel Quesenberry. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Glenwood Saford Lawson, her second husband, Charles Kent Lee, Sr., and a daughter, Vera Dean Wright. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Dean Albert; son, Chris Lawson, all of Christiansburg; grandchildren, Dena, Kristy, and Tony Albert, Stephan, and Greg Gallimore; seven great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 11:00 am in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am before the service.
