Debbie Jo Kincaid

Debbie Jo Clark Kincaid, age 66, of 9706 Rich Patch Road, Covington, Virginia died on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at her residence.

Debbie was born on June 18, 1959 in Alleghany County, Virginia to the late Homer Richard Clark, and Vadnia Virginia Hyler Clark. She was a Patient Care Assistant for Alleghany Highlands Homecare and a member of Low Moor Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed working with her patients, and loved to read.

She is survived by a daughter, Heather Marple (Tommy) of Eagle Rock; a son, Homer Joseph Marple (Sammie) of Grottoes; three sisters, Lisa Clark of Clifton Forge, Linda Clark Cary (Clayton) of Covington, and Sarah Burnette of Selma; a granddaughter, Abby Marple; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Lewis Kincaid in March of 2022.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. A graveside service to celebrate the lives of both Debbie and Steve will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 11:00 AM in Sharon Baptist Cemetery with Mr. Shane Hiner and Mr. Chris Fisher officiating. Their cremains will then be placed together in Sharon Baptist Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Alleghany Humane Society, 9313 Rich Patch Road, Covington, VA 24426.
