Patricia "Pat" Ann Loftis Midkiff

Patricia “Pat” Loftis Midkiff, age 85, of King, NC, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, April 2, 2026. Born in Surry County on October 6, 1940, she was the daughter of the late William Earl Loftis and the late Elfra Equilla Gunnell Loftis. Pat was a retired “team leader” at Sara Lee Hosiery. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who meant so much to those who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ted Midkiff and eldest son, Tony Midkiff. She is survived by her son, Todd Midkiff (Jeanel); grandchildren, Tanner Midkiff (Lexi), Anna Naal (Zack), Matt Wayne (Brandi); great-grandchildren, Kennedy Naal, Tristen Naal, Emma Wayne, and Stetson Wayne; sister, Frances Lynn Loftis Cox; and half-brother, Beamer Loftis. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 6, 2026, at the Midkiff Family Cemetery, with Pastor Danny Poindexter officiating. No services will be held at the funeral home. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson, NC is serving the Midkiff family.
