Kenneth Lee Crews

Kenneth Lee Crews, age 62 of Chatham, Virginia passed away Friday, April 3, 2026. Kenneth was born on April 30, 1963, in Danville, Virginia to the late Mildred Adkins Crews and the late Percy Crews. He was married to Patricia Reynolds Crews.

Mr. Crews was a member of Salem Church of Christ and was retired from VDOT. Throughout his 30-year career at VDOT, Kenneth was a surveyor as well as working in maintenance, holding that position until retirement.

In addition to his beloved wife of the residence, he is also survived by his son, Travis Crews and his wife Amanda; sister, Deborah Ann Crews Hammock; sister-in-law, Martha Hamlett Crews; his beloved cat, “Buddy”; and two special grand dogs, “Brock” and “Kane”.

In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his brothers, James Richard “Ricky” Crews and Frank Wayne Crews.

A graveside service for Mr. Crews will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Burial Park in Chatham, Virginia with Pastor Larry Owen officiating. The family will have friends at the residence following the graveside service for a visitation from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
