Doris Ann Naff Ellis

Doris Ann Naff Ellis, 92, of Salem, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026.

Doris was a faithful member of the Salem Church of Christ. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially reading and taking walks when she was able. She will be remembered for her quiet strength, kind spirit, and devotion to her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert “Bob” Ellis; her parents, Earl Naff and Ruth Mills Naff.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sisters, Rosemary Lynch (David) and Velma Call (Billy); her brother, Winfred Naff (Carolyn); her sister-in-law, Doris Worrell; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, in the chapel of Lotz Funeral Home in Salem. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Salem Church of Christ, 401 West Main Street, Salem, VA 24153.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Friendship Health & Rehab South and Good Samaritan Hospice for their compassionate care and support.

Doris will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
