Angela Leigh Fahrner Lewis
Mrs. Angela Leigh “Angie” Fahrner Lewis, 52, of Orion Township, MI, passed away unexpectedly on Monday night, April 13, 2026, in Mount Airy. Mrs. Lewis was born March 22, 1974, in Oakland County, MI, one of ten children born to Pamela Gail Edwards Arnason and the late John Vernon Fahrner. Angie grew up in Orion Township, MI, and graduated from Indianwood Christian Academy in 1993. She later dedicated several years of her life to serving as a teaching assistant in the Michigan public school system, where she was known for her caring spirit and the positive impact she had on the children she worked with. Angie will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished daughter, sister, and friend. She had a deep love for her family and found her greatest joy in the time spent with those she held dear. Her kind heart, gentle nature, and warm presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Joshua Elliott “Josh” Lewis; a daughter, McKayla Anne Lewis (Jerome); her mother, Pamela Gail Edwards Arnason (Terry); her stepmother, Joy King Fahrner; four sisters, Tamara Rebtoy (Mike), Johnna Kaso (Ilir), Megan Petro, and Holly Gutowski (Richard); five brothers, Robert Fahrner, John Fahrner, Michael Fahrner (Sydney), Daniel Fahrner (Neida), and Timothy Fahrner (Carol); two stepsisters, Angela Arnason and Becky Vaneeckhoutte; three stepbrothers, Arthur Arnason, Jamie King, and Roger King; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Richard Loman officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
