Charles Avery Newman

Charles Avery Newman, 60, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Born March 3, 1966, to the late Avery Phillip Newman and the late Ola Mae Bledsoe Newman. Charles was a man of dedication, faith, and an unwavering love for his family. He was an avid outdoorsman and was often found fishing or working outside in his free time when he was able. A steady presence you could always count on; he leaves behind a legacy that will not soon be forgotten. Left to cherish his memory is his brother, Mark Newman; and nephew, Jason Mark Newman. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Tammy Joan Newman. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Charles is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 25, 2026, in the Moody-Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Coe officiating. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson, NC is serving the Newman family.
