Mary Stump Wills

Mary Stump Wills, 91, of Roanoke, passed away on April 25, 2026.

She was born June 25, 1934, in Virginia. Mary was preceded in death by four husbands, James Briggs, Clarence Long, Randolph Stanley, and Joseph Wills. She was also preceded in death by three stepchildren, Mary Kemper, Floyd Stanley, and Donna Kay Johnson.

Mary is survived by her son, S. Wayne Briggs and wife Candy; her daughter, Vicky Alli and husband Gary; three grandsons, Michael Haupt, Wayne Briggs and wife Courtney, and Gary D. Alli, Jr and wife Simone; and her great granddaughter, Charlotte Briggs.

She was a member of Parkway Wesleyan Church for 38 years. Mary was manager of Stanley’s Trailer Park for 20 years.

The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 1:00 until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will follow in the chapel of Lotz Funeral Home in Salem at 2:00 pm with Pastor Mike Lauridsen officiating. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Park.
