Ann Page Burnette Walton

Ann Page Burnette Walton, 84, passed away peacefully at her residence on May 2, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Ann was born on May 5, 1941 in Danville, VA to the late Estelle Boaze Burnette and the late Will F. Burnette. She is also predeceased by her husband, Mr. Irvin Daniel Walton.

Ann was of the Christian Faith and a member of Rock Springs united Methodist Church. She worked for many years as a school bus driver for Pittsylvania County Public Schools, previous to her retirement. She was a proud graduate of Brosville High School.

Ann is survived by two sons; Steven Walton and Howard Scott Walton (Hannah); and three grandchildren; Jacob Daniel Walton, Elizabeth Shaw Walton, and Joseph Wade Walton.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ann was predeceased by a son; David Mark Walton; and a grandson; Benjamin Joseph Walton; a sister; Addie B. Oakes; and three brothers; Desmond Franklin Burnette, Jimmy Grant Burnette, and Billy Burnette.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 11:00am at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park, Danville, VA. A visitation will be held on the same day, previous to the service from 10-11:00am also at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA. At other times the family will receive friends and family at the residence.
