Phyllis LeGrand Harvey

Phyllis LeGrand Harvey, 94, of Chesterfield, VA passed away and entered into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, May 3, 2026. She was the wife of the late Thomas Edward Harvey.
Born on November 20, 1931, in Charlottesville, VA, she was the daughter of the late Archie Alexander LeGrand, Sr. and Lula Price LeGrand. Phyllis was a founding member of God’s Storehouse Baptist Church in Chesterfield, VA. She was a former Sunday school teacher, choir member, Girls in Actions leader, and Bible school teacher at Pinehurst Baptist Church in Richmond, VA. Phyllis was a selfless individual and always put others first. She loved her family, friends, and church.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Harvey Brown and husband, Roger; granddaughter, Melanie Lauren Brown Himes and husband, Russell, Jr.; grandsons, Edward and Daniel Harvey; great-granddaughter, Lula Adeline Himes; and sister, Wanda Brown.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Thomas Edward Harvey; her son, Thomas Royal Harvey; and four siblings, Maxwell LeGrand, Archie LeGrand, Jr., Louise Caperson, and Helen Jean Rickman.
A funeral service will be held 2pm, Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Robinson Funeral Home with Pastor Don Crain officiating. A private burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
