Frank Earl Dobbins

Frank E. Dobbins, 77, husband of Patsy Nicely Dobbins, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 8, 2026. He was the son of the late John H. and Ethel Moore Dobbins. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Katherine Morgan Dobbins, and a brother, Harvey Dobbins, Jr.

Frank was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, and went on to retire as a Regional Claims Manager with Allstate Insurance. He was a member of North Roanoke Baptist Church, and a member of the ROHO Hunt Club.

In addition to his loving wife of 57 years, Patsy Ann Nicely Dobbins, he will be missed and remembered by his sons, Shawn Dobbins (Sarah) and Daniel Dobbins (Kelly); his grandchildren, Franklin, Jillian, Luke, Isabella, Emmalee, and Parker; as well as the members of the ROHO Hunt Club, and other friends and family too numerous to mention.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 from 4 pm to 6 pm at North Roanoke Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 North Roanoke Baptist Church with Dr. Shawn Dobbins officiating.

Interment will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 in the Central Advent Christian Church Cemetery in Clifton Forge, VA with Rev. Daniel Palmer officiating.
