Janette Lee Jackson German

Janette Lee Jackson German, 82, passed away peacefully at her residence on May 17, 2026. Janette was born in Danville, VA to the late Pearl Alice Wyatt Setliff and the late Clarence Edward Jackson. She was also predeceased by her loving husband of many years, Mr. Dale Frederick German.

Janette was of the Christian Faith. She worked for many years at Dan River Mills Inc. previous to her retirement.

Janette is survived by three daughters; Kaitelyn E. German of the residence, Terenna Ketchum and Annette Bowes (Wendell); a son; Christopher Horsley; eleven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and her special friend; Anita Hodnett

In addition to her parents, and loving husband, Janette was predeceased by a son; Michael Horsley; a daughter Donna Horsley; and two brothers; John Thorton Jackson and William “Billy” Edward Jackson.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 2:00pm at Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville VA.
