Gary Earl Plaster

Mr. Gary Earl Plaster, age 74 of Stuart, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2026 at his home. He was born in Henry County on July 27, 1951 to the late Posey Earl Plaster and Elizabeth Mills Plaster. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Katina Ellen Plaster. Gary served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Big A Church of Christ. He loved working at WHEO radio station. He enjoyed photography, especially going to events taking pictures and sharing the photos on Facebook for everybody to enjoy. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Debbie Martin Plaster of the home; a sister, Marsha Hylton of Woolwine; sister-in-law, Carolyn Handy (Wendell) of Stuart; nieces, Kasi Thompson (Lance) of Bassett and Lori Haden of Stuart. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Peters Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Anthony Davis and Allen Caudle officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard.
