William "Will" Allan Ore
William “Will” Allan Ore Jr., age 39, of Rustburg, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026.
Born on August 9, 1986, in Lynchburg, Virginia, he was the son of William Allan Ore, Sr. and Rebecca Lynn Ore. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gwen and Emil Hansen, Uncle Dale Hansen and his paternal grandparents, Charles and Lillian Ore, Aunt Betty Sue White, Uncle Doug Ore and father-in-law John Campbell.
Will was raised in Atlanta, Georgia until the age of 12 and carried many fond memories of his childhood there. He loved WCW wrestling, attending Atlanta Braves games, outdoor concerts and exciting days at Six Flags. He graduated from Brookville High School in 2004. In recent years, he discovered a passion for axe throwing. He also enjoyed family dinners and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Tabatha Campbell; his daughter, Lillian Elaine Ore; his brother, Justin Michael (Lindsay) his aunt Faye White; uncles Tommy Ore (Cindy), Roy White and Martin Hansen (Randi); brother-in-law Tim Campbell, sister-in-law Tiffany Campbell and mother-in-law Gilda Campbell. Also, his beloved nieces and nephews, Kris and Jay Ore, Kenzie and Becklyn Gunter, Dixie, Jameson and Gracelyn Millner, Justin and Hunter Campbell.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Mountain View Church of God. The women of The Church of God will serve a meal afterward at the church’s Family Center.
