Harold "Junior" Roberts

Harold “Junior” Eugene Roberts, 53, of Martinsville, VA passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026, at his residence. He was born on September 3, 1972, in Virginia, to Harold Eugene Wright and the late Frances Roberts. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Wright; and his nephew, Austin Rakes.

Junior was a generous and selfless person who always sought to help others without expecting recognition. He cared deeply about the needs of those around him and consistently put others before himself. A loving man with a strong faith in God, he was a devoted Christian who faithfully served and participated in his church, Vision Assembly of God. Junior also enjoyed collecting model cars, a hobby that brought him great joy.

Junior was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. Whether on the job or at home, he was always working hard and staying busy. His commitment to his responsibilities and his willingness to lend a helping hand reflected the kind of dependable and caring person he was.

In addition to his father, Harold Eugene Wright; he is survived by his fiancé, Brandi Sessor; daughter, Ruby Roberts; son, Hunter Roberts; sister, Tina Rakes (Gary); brother, William Roberts; niece, Aryanna Roberts; nephew, Landon Roberts; and many grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Meadows of Dan Baptist Church Cemetery, 77 Baptist Church Lane, Meadows of Dan, VA 24120 with Pastor Jennifer Graham officiating.
