Kathy Bocock Cline

Kathy Bocock Cline, 67, of Dry Fork, VA passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026, at her residence. She was born on June 1, 1959, in Martinsville, VA to the late Richard Leo Bocock and Pauline Rakes Bocock.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Candice Howard Bocock; and her father and mother-in-law, Jack Lewis Cline and Mary Alice Gibson Cline.
Mrs. Cline was a devoted member of Faith Memorial Baptist Church and a loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother. Her family was the center of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. She dedicated many years to serving students in the public-school systems as a paraeducator with special needs children and worked as a substitute teacher. She found great joy in helping and encouraging young people throughout her career.
One of her favorite traditions was an annual shopping trip with some of her closest friends, Cindy Craig, Teresa Adams, and Debbie Judkins. For forty years, they faithfully continued this cherished tradition.
She is survived by her husband, John Daniel "Danny" Cline; children, Erin Thompson (Joel), and Stuart Cline (Trevor Norton); sister, Sherry Quinley (Patrick); brother, Rick Bocock; grandchildren, Jack Thompson and Thatcher Thompson; and brothers-in-law, Brad Cline (Mary), and Steve Cline.
SERVICE INFORMATION
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Horsepasture Christian Church. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Daniel Lackey officiating. Burial will take place immediately following the service at Horsepasture Christian Church Cemetery.
