Allen Marion Revis

Allen Marion Revis, 83, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Allen was born on October 29, 1942 to the late Anita Townsend Revis and the late Claude Revis.

Allen was of the Christian Faith. He worked for many years as a band builder for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, previous to his retirement. Allen was an avid golfer, and member of Goodyear Golf Course.

Allen is survived by two sons; Robert Revis and Kenneth Revis, both of Danville, VA; seven grandchildren; Kenny Revis Jr., Christen Revis, Taylor Revis, Jessica Caswell, Allen Revis, Austin Revis, and Jayden Revis; eleven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Allen was predeceased by a granddaughter; Robin Revis; four brothers; Clifton Revis, Gerald Revis, Joe Revis, and LeRoy Revis; and two sisters; Cecile Rogers and Marcia Revis.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 12:00pm at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA with Pastor Joey Bray officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park, Danville, VA. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 6-7:30pm, also at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA. At other times the family will receive friends and family at the residence of his son, Mr. Robert Revis.
