Cynthia Kendrick Sowers

Cynthia Kendrick Sowers, of 256 Moses Mill Rd., Chatham, Virginia, departed this life on June 16, 2026, at her place of residence. Cynthia was born in Danville, Virginia on October 20, 1964, to the late Earl Garfield Kendrick and Gereline Herndon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Dale Kendrick.

Cynthia received her GED and was employed with Roman Eagle for 26 years as a CNA. Cynthia leaves her cherished children Christopher Sowers (Ariel) and Alvin Palmer (Katie), along with her sisters Sandra Sanchez and Jeanie Bergantin, and her brother Darrel Kendrick. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Charlotte, Savannah, Grant, Oliver, Autumn, Alyas, and her many friends.
