Leornard Leon Campbell, 68, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026. He was born in Alleghany County and was the son of the late Leonard Herbert and Elsie Taylor Campbell.
Leonard worked in highway maintenance and construction for many years and retired from CFE after more than 15 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially loved hunting.
He will be missed and remembered by his son, Scott H. Campbell and his wife Tammy; his daughter, Tiffany M. Campbell; grandchildren, Gavin Campbell, Martin Campbell and Brady Walton; a sister, Ruby Harris; a brother, John Campbell; as well as numerous other family and friends.
Per Leonard’s wishes, no services are planned.
