Wanda Jean Bean
Wanda Jean Bean, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026, at home surrounded by her loved ones.
Wanda was born on November 24, 1947, in Roanoke, VA. She graduated from Jefferson High School and worked as a distributor in healthcare where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. In addition to her career, Wanda owned her own cleaning business, Toadally Clean, where she was greatly appreciated and loved by her customers.
On July 2, 1964, she married the love of her life, Butch Bean. Together, they built a life centered on family, love, and lasting memories.
Wanda will be remembered for her feisty personality and warm spirit. She never met a stranger and had a gift for storytelling that brought joy to those around her. She especially loved cooking for her family and friends, creating moments that will be cherished for years to come. Wanda touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughters, Robyn Tuck and Sherry Bean, and her granddaughter, Kaylee Tuck.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Helen Hall; her brothers, Wayne Hall, Donnie Hall, and Barry Hall; and her sister, Darlene Revels.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 pm on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at Lotz Funeral Home Roanoke, 1001 Franklin Road. A funeral service will be held at 10 am Thursday, July 9, 2026 at the funeral home with Chaplin Rick Pollard officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
