Eulish Wade

Eulish Grant "Duke" Wade, 91, of Ferrum transitioned on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at his home. He was born February 9, 1935 in Henry County, VA a son of the late John and Pencie Hagwood Wade.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Mary Watkins Wade, of the home; two sons, Eulish T. (Felicia) Wade and Buddy Wade both of Ferrum, VA; one brother, MacArthur Wade, of Greenwood, SC; 3 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, and 4 nephews, Dray, Chon, Te, and Nolan Finney, all of Martinsville, VA.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 10, 2026 at 12:30 PM at Hines Funeral Services chapel with Rev. Lewis Powell, officiating. Burial will follow in the Hairston Family Cemetery in Fieldale, VA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one half hour prior to the funeral and will be at the home at 14058 Franklin Street, Ferrum, VA at other times.

A public viewing will be held Thursday from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at Hines Funeral services.
