Nancy Shackelford Bohan

Nancy Shackelford Bohan, 83, of Lexington, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026. She was preceded in death by her mom, Elizabeth West.

Nancy is survived by her children, Emily Beckett (Sam), Douglas Wilson, Norma Mays (Emory), Martha Sue Gates, and William Limerick; grandchildren, Gary Ramsey, Lauren Moreno (Hector), Andrew Brooks (Jordan); Montana Flint; great grandchildren, Winry Moreno and Wells Brooks; and close friend, Charles Baumgardner (whom she called him her “son”).

Nancy had a great sense of humor. She was the sweetest mom who will be deeply missed. She was known as “MOM” to everyone.

There will be no services per her wishes.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to the Diabetes Association, Kidney Association, and/or Heart Association.
