Sandra Jean Chapman
Sandra Jean Chapman, 78, of Pamplin, died Wednesday, July 15, 2026.
Born in Louisville, Kentucky, on June 7, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Jean Rose and Edward Morton Garber. She began her career as a registered nurse at St. Joseph Hospital and retired after 40 years of dedicated service.
Sandra loved gardening and enjoyed volunteering her time with worthy organizations. She was big-hearted and fiercely loved her family.
She was the devoted wife of Michael T. Chapman for 57 years and the beloved mother and grandmother of her son, Timothy M. Chapman and wife, Alexandra; her daughter, Kristen A. Boston and husband, Tony; three grandchildren, Nicolette Kerr and husband, Joe, Alexander Chapman, and Samuel Boston; and two great-granddaughters, Adilyn and Amelia.
She is also survived by her brother, David Garber and wife, Debbie; sister-in-law, Pam Garber; and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Mark E. Garber.
A private internment will be held 10am, Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
The family will receive friends from 4-8pm, Friday, July 31, 2026, at Ratterman Funeral Home, 4832 Cane Run Rd, Louisville, KY 40216.
