Mary Beth Coale

Mary Elizabeth “Beth” Lawless-Coale, 68, of Stuart, Virginia, passed away July 21, 2026. She was born December 1, 1957, to the late Ralph and Geraldine Gusler Lawless.

She is survived by is her loving husband, Donald Coale; brother, Ralph Michael Lawless (Debbie); aunt, Evadall Rogers of Silver Springs, Maryland; and numerous beloved cousins.

Beth attended Fieldale-Collinsville High School and received her Environmental Studies degree from Ferrum College. She was employed by Eastman Performance Films in Fieldale, Virginia, for more than thirty years.

She attended Providence United Methodist Church and looked forward to Sunday service and visiting with her church family. She loved all of God’s creatures; even the bear that ventured to the front porch on occasion. She had a special place in her heart for her German Shepard, Luna, who was her constant companion while recuperating from chemotherapy and surgeries.
