Penny Jane Manning

Penny Jane Manning, 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Mulberry Creek Rehabilitation Center.

Born to the late Olin Glen Dellinger and Connie Helms Dellinger, Penny lived a life centered on faith, family, and the simple joys that brought happiness to those around her. Her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In addition to her parents, Penny was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charlie Lee Manning, and her sister, Connie Sue Stanley and her husband, Don Stanley.

Left to cherish her precious memory are her devoted children, Jody Manning and wife, Lynette, and Kelly Collins and husband, Daniel; her cherished granddaughter, Kristen Collins; and her special friend, Frank Thomas. She also leaves behind many extended family members, friends, and neighbors who will fondly remember her warmth and kindness.

Penny was a faithful member of Clearview Gospel Mission Church, where her faith was an important part of her life. She found great joy in attending church and worshipping with her church family. She also had a special love for her kittens, enjoyed shopping, and took great pride in growing beautiful flowers, which reflected the care and beauty she shared with those around her.

Penny's legacy is one of love, faith, compassion, and devotion to her family. Her gentle presence and caring heart will be remembered always, and her memory will continue to bloom in the lives of those who loved her.
