Annette Kathryn Garrett

Annette Kathryn Garrett, 61, of Christiansburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. She was preceded in death by her dad, Glenn Garrett.

Annette is survived by her son, Zackary Garrett (Aubrey); mother, Shelby Garrett; brother, Bryan Garrett (Sue); and pets, Zya and Binx.

Annette was a very joyful person who had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. She found beauty in small things and truly enjoyed cooking and feeding others, as well as helping those around her whenever she could. Annette was an incredibly generous and bright woman who loved fearlessly.

The family will have a Celebration of Life Service on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 4:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA 24019. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those wishing to honor her make a donation of food or supplies to the Humane Society or ASPCA.
