Jerrett Lee Lawhorne

Jerrett Lee Lawhorne of Bryant Hollow Road, Amherst VA passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 26, 2026. He was the youngest son of Lindsey and Teresa Lawhorne, born October 10, 1988. He was a husband, father, son, brother and friend. Jerrett was a Christian, a lifelong member of Wesleyan Church, an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed cutting timber and traveling. In addition to his parents he leaves to mourn his wife, Alexandria Lawhorne; sons, Jackson Logan Lawhorne (15), Andrew Mason Lawhorne (14); and daughter, Kinslee Timber Lawhorne (10); brothers, Clayton Lawhorne and Justin Lawhorne; sister, Rachel Stull and so many family and friends. He was employed at PCA (Greif) for the past 10 years as a Maintenance Technician. He thoroughly believed in working hard to achieve his dreams and finally started his official business, Lawhorne Land Services LLC. He worked hard to provide for his family and wanted to create something they could be proud of. Services are to be held at Wesleyan Church 167 Kilmarnock Lane Amherst, VA 24521 on Monday, August 3rd. Visitation will be held from 3pm-5pm with funeral services following immediately after. Pastor Jeffrey Campbell will be officiating the service. He will be laid to rest in a family cemetery. The family requests their privacy be respected during this time. Pall Bearers will include his best friend/brother Derek Wright, Adam Campbell, Ray Lawhorne (Baby Ray), Matt Lawson, Greg Martin Jr., Walter Humphreys, Michael Despres, and Ryan Patton.
