Stephen Gray Lester

Stephen Gray Lester, 33, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026. He was born November 20, 1992, in Japan to Pamela Michelle Owin and Stephen Enoch Lester.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jesse Holley and Pamela Chapell; and paternal grandparents, William and Lille Lester.

Stephen enjoyed reading and playing video games, with FAR CRY5 being his favorite. He was an avid gamer who loved spending time with his family. Stephen had a big heart and loved and trusted those around him. He was truly special to everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Nicole Lester; brother. James Lester; aunts, Melissa Soloman and Rebecca Pierce; numerous nieces, cousins, extended family and friends.

Although services will be private, the family wishes to express their profound gratitude for all of the love, prayers, and many good deeds sent their way during this time of grief.
