Joyce Faye Sechrist Wallace

Ms. Joyce Faye Sechrist Wallace, age 62, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. She was born on April 2, 1964 in Surry County to Linda Sechrist Robertson and the late James Dean Browder. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Kevin Senter (Bri) and Brandon Senter; grandchildren, Alex Senter; step grandchild, Boone Duncan; mother, Linda Robertson; stepfather Jack Robertson; brothers, James Browder, Terry Browder, Ricky Robertson (Brenda) Ricky Hawks. In addition to her father Ms. Wallace was preceded in death by her stepmother, Louise Browder; grandparents, Jessie Browder (Eunice), Robert Sechrist (Connie); several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Old Hollow Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.
