Taylor Ford Massie

Taylor Ford Massie, Jr., 86, of Cambridge, MA, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2026. Born April 22, 1940, in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of the late Taylor Ford Massie, Sr. and Nellie Louise Stevens. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Marie Eva Adrienne Lane, and his sister, Sue Adams Gentry. Taylor was a 1958 graduate of Narrows High School in Narrows, VA and was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church of Concord, MA. He served in the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, marching in many parades on the 18th of April and on the 4th of July, and escorted dignitaries boarding the U.S. Constitution ship “Old Ironsides”. He was a mason and served as Master of the Lodge in two lodges, sometimes more than once. He served four years in the air force. He worked at the Raytheon Co. for forty-one years in the Calibration Lab. He is survived by his wife, Linnea Jean Massie of Cambridge, MA, his son Taylor "Buck" Ford Massie, III of Vero Beach, FL his adopted daughter Elizabeth “Liz Ann” of Cedar Point, NC, his sister (Mary) Garland Massie of Pembroke VA, and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
