Frances Anne Riddle

Frances Anne Riddle, 77, of Chatham, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2026. She was born June 30, 1949, in Rocky Mount, Virginia to the late Oscar Kinsley and Hazel Cook Kinsley.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Riddle; grandson, Josh Tawney; and one great grandchild.

Frances found joy in the simple pleasures. She loved tending to flowers, feeding the birds, cooking for those she loved, and cheering on her favorite races. Nothing brought her greater happiness than spending time with her grandchildren and making memories with her family, whom she loved so dearly.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Keith Riddle; daughters, Lori Ferguson (Billy), and Lisa Worley; son, Ricky Riddle; sister, Shirley Bowles (Gene); grandchildren, Heather Bryant, Daniel Stollar, Ashley Patteson, Taylor Patteson; and twelve great grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, August 2, 2026, from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM, at Wright Funeral Service Martinsville Chapel, 1425 Greensboro Road, Martinsville, Virginia.
